Schultz Auto and Repair Fixes Damaged Torsion Bar Mount for Customer

Brandon was getting very frustrated. His 90s-era Chevy S-10 Blazer was having problems, but nobody could figure out the problem. That was until he brought his car into Schultz Auto and Truck Repair. Owner, Michael Schultz, and his team of automotive repair experts.

"My car was making a clunk noise while driving," says Brandon in his online review. "I had it at 4 shops for 2 days each, and no one could figure it out. I dropped it off at Schultz and got a call 45 minutes later with an estimate."

The ASE Certified automotive technicians at Schultz Auto and Truck Repair were able to diagnose the source of the clunking noise after performing a thorough external inspection. Michael was very familiar with the Chevy Blazer from his years working at a GM dealership. The problem turned out to be a bad torsion bar mount. It would cause the suspension to dive and hit the frame. It would make the clunking noise any time Brandon turned the vehicle.

Once this problem was determined, we were able to put together a detailed estimate of replacement parts and labor required for the work. This information was then provided to Brandon, so he could decide if he wanted to move ahead with the recommended repairs to the torsion bar mount. Our goal at Schultz Auto and Truck Repair is always to provide enough information and advice for customers to make sound repair decisions.

"They fixed it and my noise was gone," Brandon adds. "Speedy, accurate and fair prices. I'd recommend them to anyone."

We appreciate the feedback, Brandon, and we were happy to help. It's amazing to think that four other auto shops were not able to determine the problem. Hopefully we provided the peace of mind you needed and the car is still running great.
